Who is Tri-Ess
You may have been looking for a group like this, or you may have stumbled across us accidentally. Either way, welcome. You may be comfortable and secure with your second self, or you may be lonely and scared and looking for support. Either way, welcome.
This is Tri-Beta the Tampa Bay Chapter of Tri-Ess and this may be just what you have been looking for. Tri-Ess (Society for the Second Self) is the oldest and largest support group for heterosexual crossdressers and their partners. It's a place where CD's can let our hair down, be our "other" selves, and explore our feminine feelings without fear of exposure or ridicule.
Being gender-conflicted is not easy, as you know if you are one of us. Many of us go through our lives for years feeling confused and scared. We may even feel like we are alone in the world. Well, you don't need to feel that way any longer. At Tri-Beta, we are here for each other, for support and friend ship.
Tri-Ess is a group that provides support and education of crossdressers and their partners. This includes meetings and other functions at which we dress in a safe and private environment--a chance for us to revel in our feminine side and interact with others at the same time. This does NOT include meeting others for sexual or dating purposes. You decide how much or little privacy you want, but you must respect all other members' privacy. Our membership list is totally confidential, and everyone who joins must agree to a stringent code of conduct prohibiting disclosure of private information about any other member. If you join and come to our meetings, you can expect to meet lots of other people just like you (and their wives) who have been through the same trials and have had many of the same experiences. You can also expect to have fun!
In Tri-Ess, wives are equal partners. We understand that being married to a crossdresser can be just as complicated as being one, and one of our primary goals is to give the same support to our partners as we give to our sisters. To that end, we even have a partners' group called SPICE, the Spouses and Partners International Conference for Education. Of course, if you are single, or your wife is unaware or unsupportive, you are just as welcome.
To join a local Tri-Ess chapter, you must first be a member of Tri-Ess
National. The dues are $36 per year for individuals, $48 for couples. Members
receive the quarterly publication, The Femme Mirror. A wife will also receive
the SPICE newsletter if she joins. To receive a Tri-Ess Membership Application
